Embroidery provides a simplified way of looking at two important organ systems: the nervous system [which is in charge of coordinating signals between the brain and the rest of the body] & the circulatory system [distributes nutrients to cells in the body]. This diptych was shown in "System Imaging," an exhibition I curated with Andrea Jennings in the fall of 2010.
